The PCSS is a standardized symptom rating scale used to assess concussion symptoms after a concussion. In the acute phase, it is may be used to identify the presence and severity of post-concussion symptoms soon after injury. During follow-up, it is used to monitor symptom changes over time to support ongoing concussion management.
